Piezoelectric materials can be divided into 2 categories: crystals and piezoelectric ceramics. The most famous crystalline piezoelectric material is quartz (silicon dioxide), but pure piezoelectric ceramics are usually imperfect, and their piezoelectric properties can be modified by doping and piezoelectric materials. Piezoelectric ceramics have positive and inverse piezoelectric effects. The pressure sensitivity belongs to the positive piezoelectric effect. When a force is applied to the ceramic, the piezoelectric ceramic is deformed, and the internal polarization state changes. Piezoelectric ceramics have the characteristics of mutual conversion between mechanical energy and electrical energy. After continuous research and development and design of BESTAR Sensors Co., Ltd., and continuous optimization and innovation of manufacturing process, piezoelectric ceramics have been widely used in extremely broad fields.
